URSULA ERRINGTON

Prior to founding Hard Truth Media, Ursula was a news correspondent and business news presenter for Sky News for a decade. She also worked for BBC Look East as a news anchor and Monocle 24 Radio as a breakfast presenter on the station’s flagship current affairs programme.

Ursula has extensive experience working with fast-turnaround deadlines across iPad, mobile, radio, online and TV news output platforms and has covered every kind of story – from natural disasters to foreign affairs and domestic politics. She has interviewed two Prime Ministers and three Chancellors of the Exchequer. As a Sky News business presenter based at their studio in the City, Ursula was responsible for writing and delivering hourly business news bulletins including live interviews with c-suite executives, analysts and experts and provided live injects for other international news networks, at their request. Her on-air interviewing style was considered polite but direct, extensively researched and always put real people at the heart of the story.

Before becoming a journalist Ursula was a commodity derivatives trader for BNP Paribas and started her working life trading physical crude oil for Shell Trading and Shipping Company. Her undergraduate degree was from Oxford University and her Post-Graduate Diploma (Distinction) from Cardiff University.
